Our Introduction to Obedience class is designed to help you build a strong foundation with your dog. Here’s what you need to know:

• Leash Requirements: Dogs should be leashed with a standard flat or rope leash and wear a collar or training collar. While we guide you on the proper use of training collars, we don’t require any specific tools.
• Behavior Guidelines: Dogs must be under control during class. We do not allow aggressive behavior toward other dogs or humans. If your dog exhibits aggression, please consult with us for alternative training options.

For more personalized attention, individual or “one-on-one” training sessions are perfect for addressing specific behavioral concerns or fine-tuning your dog’s skills. These sessions are tailored to your unique needs.

How It Works:

• Training Evaluation: Your journey begins with a one-hour evaluation, where we discuss your goals and assess your dog’s temperament.
• Personalized Plan: Based on the evaluation, we will recommend the best approach to help you achieve success.

Evaluation Fees:

• At PetU Facility: $50
• At Your Home: $100 (additional travel fees may apply)

Individual Session Pricing:

• At PetU Facility: $130 per session, $650 for 5 sessions
• At Your Home: $160 per session, $800 for 5 sessions
• Session Terms: A minimum of 5 sessions must be scheduled. Sessions must be used within 6 months. Cancellations require 24-hour notice; otherwise, the session is forfeited.

Our Board & Train program is ideal for building a strong foundation of behavioral expectations. Your dog will stay at our Racine facility for approximately three weeks, where they will receive daily training tailored to their specific needs. Our trainers work closely with your dog to understand their learning style and motivation. You’ll visit weekly to review progress and practice what we’ve taught.

Board & Train Rates:

• Puppies (up to 6 months): Starting at $2,100
• Dogs (6 months to 1 year): Starting at $2,700
• Dogs (1 year and older): Starting at $3,300

*Additional costs may apply for advanced obedience, service dog training, or working with dogs that have behavioral challenges such as aggression, anxiety, or fear.

Our Day Training program is an exciting new offering that combines the fun of daycare with the effectiveness of our Board & Train Program. It’s the perfect solution for dogs who need training but also enjoy the socialization and activities of daycare.

Here’s how it works:

• Personalized Training: After an initial evaluation with one of our trainers to discuss your training goals, your dog will spend their day in daycare, while also receiving individualized training sessions tailored to their needs.

• Focused Training Time: Throughout the day, your dog will have dedicated one-on-one sessions with our experienced trainers to address any behavioral concerns or work on basic obedience skills. Each day includes a total of approximate 1 hour of training.

• Program Structure: The Day Training package includes 6 training sessions spread over 3 weeks, with a progress review meeting during the second week to discuss results and provide at-home practice exercises.

How to Enroll:

• Make sure your dog is up to date with daycare assessments and vaccinations

• Complete a training evaluation

• Payment is due at the time of scheduling
